Thinking about my mom, born May 29 (I meant to post this yesterday two days ago, but as usual time slipped away.)
I wrote a poem awhile ago about this. I shared it on my Poemfest last February. You can see it here.
Travel makes me HAPPY. Recent short trips to Poulsbo and Wenatchee were filled with happy moments with Bob and friends.
And tomorrow I leave for a wedding in Florida, and a short side road trip up to Savannah. A Viking cruise to Alaska will follow that, with our California buddies. But THEN, aha! I get to stay home in the wonderful Pacific Northwest summer weather. Maybe have another art camp. All of which makes me
HAPPY.
