Hello Goodbye July
I seem to have lost July somewhere. Where did it go?
Except for two recent days of high 80s and high humidity - very unusual in these parts - it has been a typical July, pretty much grand. The garden has gone from waiting for the daisies to pop to cutting all of them back and waiting for the hydrangeas, some of which have already been showing off as only hydrangeas can do.

It’s been a typical summer. Cubs win some, lose some. Ice cream bars taste better in summer. Diane flits from project to project. Piles of books to be read.
Visitors coming in a couple of weeks. Much to do.
I have been collecting some little enjoyments.
