How's your January going? — One Red Chair Studio

We’re having a relatively warm and wet January. While I don’t like the short days of light, I confess I like January for its laid-backness. I get things done. I make lists and actually use them. I feel like reading more. I light the fireplace earlier. Nothing to shop for. Having grown up in the midwest of cold and icy Januaries, I appreciate the mild winters here. I did enjoy the California January we experienced recently and the green is always nice. Always. But I did Southern California for 28 years and, still, I missed the seasons. We most definitely have seasons up here in the Northwest.
