I is for Inimitable.

POPPY.

MOOSIE.

I said it before and I’ll say it again. “We in Puget Sound are having the best summer in the country. And the finest one out of many fine ones.  Summer is the very best season of the year.” Please humor me as I replay a favorite video, first appearing July 29, 2017. It’s my annual homage to summer. The gray winter is worth the wait.

Oh, yes, it has been awhile since I last shared a collection of favorites in the art world. I have lately traveled some, to the far northwest and far southeast corners of the country, as a matter of fact. Weddings with family (Florida), a new place to explore (Savannah), a Viking cruise with friends (Alaska), a bit of an art break after all that, AND, two new girls in the house. We have been missing purrs.

Here’s another Jewelbox. Art of all kinds.

Did you notice the sculpture doubles as a handrail? A German artist who only recently died (January 2023). And see more of his amusing sculptures here. And read about him here.

I just can’t help it. Street art, public art. I can’t get enough. This one is in Budapest. Here’s another one, also in Budapest, that I hope you enjoy as much as I do. Do notice the chocolate chip cookies.
