Daisy Days

Really really busy today soaking in the perfect , sunny but not-too weather today. Catch up on some library books coming due (loved reading how New Yorkers “saved” their 42nd Ave Library…oh I do love libraries.). Try to get through various piles of papers and tasks and organize my to-do lists. Take walk on one of our green and leafy paths.

Putz in the garden.

Like I said. Busy.

The peonies are gone (they give so much but stay so short) and the daisies are beginning their takeover. They are so tall that I have had to cut several already, and they are just beginning their bloom.

I didn’t even get to the studio. So busy, wink wink. So today I rummaged through some favorite past posts. I love finding gems from the past. Jewels.

This one, from 2016, highlighted a short trip north to Vancouver and several visual proofs that art is indeed everywhere. It also included this Daily Amazing, which, yes, still amazes me.

Tammie Wales Greetings to all of you coffee consuming caffeinated creators! I make art using 100% real coffee. Only originals here no prints because a print isn’t made of coffee is it? Coffee painting is similar to watercolor painting and I like to showcase an endless variety of themes and styles. It’s difficult to get noticed as an artist so remember to share. ~Big Coffee Mug Cheers To You!

It made me itchy to go to Vancouver again. It’s been too long, but the border has only recently opened again. There’s so much to love in this city, not the least of which are the Laughing Men. That’s not the name of the installation but it’s what I call them.

And, in browsing, I found this. One. Red. Chair.
