Lions and lambs all over the place.

Oh, my what weather we are having in the U.S. of A. Lions in unusual places, lambs in others. That’s March for you. And, well, a bit much of climate change, methinks.

I am at the start of a 100 day project. #The 100DayProject is an annual event that encourages artists to make art for 100 days in a row (or any reasonable variation of it, life happening as it does) and encourages posting it on instagram or 100 Day Project sites. Having passed on it for several years because I tend to get bored with the same thing over and over, I am proud of my last year’s completed accomplishment (which you can see here,) and am going to venture out again. This year I’ll do 100 faces from the news. To keep me interested, I’ll change styles and tools. I really love drawing faces, but it’s a challenge to capture a real person! Some will be more successful than others, but I don’t mind. It’s the practice and pleasure of the challenge that counts. I hope you’ll check in with my progress once in awhile. The latest Instagram post will always be at the bottom of this page and you can find them all by clicking my Instagram link. Maybe I’ll put ten together at a time to make a short reel. Maybe.

Here is March’s wallpaper for your desktop, laptop, and/or phone. I am rushing spring here. But hopefully, at least by the end of the month, we’ll start to see those buds, clovers, and new life in the garden. Aren’t well all quite ready by March?????
