January brings the snow....

from the 2023 calendar

This image, from the 2023 Calendar, “Still,” is not an original design. I did modify, draw and paint it, but the concept (all those wonderful shadowy lines made from the blinds) was originally a photograph by Paul Hoffman, made into a poster called, ‘MORNING STILL LIFE,” which has hung in our home for decades. January’s crisp, cloudless sunlight is bright and vivid, if rare.

Apologies to Southern Hemisphere friends, but for us up here, I think January, think snow. (And dark. And cold. And long. Oh well.)
