A little bitta bokeh.

I threw the original (at the bottom of this post) onto Photoshop which let me blur it a bit.

Today I played with bokeh.

Definition of bokeh

Pronounced either like ”bouquet” or bo-ka.

: the blurred quality or effect seen in the out-of-focus portion of a photograph taken with a narrow depth of field

It was my first attempt at creating that lovely blur via watercolors. Not as successful as I would like, you can spot where I fussed with it too much, but, you know, the first time. Maybe I’ll play some more with it or maybe not. It was sort of fun, but not as easy as it may appear to be to get that ephemeral, loose, very lovely effect. However, I don’t mind the circles; it makes for an interesting background for my daisies in the wind.

The original.
