Another Five Things.

Greetings! Catching up with some gems from the arts.

I’m visiting the archives today and am sending you on two of some older posts with things I STILL love and want you to know about.

I really really dig the yearbook project that I posted here way back in 2009. And the video about it.

Paul Madonna in is studio.

And a revisit to a beautiful collection of urban art (I would hardly call it a “sketch,” though that is the usual phrase (urban sketching). They are intricate and interesting. When I posted this over ten years ago, I either did not see a web page, or perhaps it has been created since that time. I encourage you to go to it and admire his work. He has new work I didn’t know about but feel I MUST pursue (!) and a YouTube video to watch. (I want you to watch it from this website, which is also a studio tour) because the actual YouTube video has an AWFUL minute ad you seem to have to get through first. UGH.

All Over Coffee (which was originally a comic strip for San Francisco papers) is available at Powell’s Bookstore and, I suppose, Amazon, as well as several Thriftbooky sites. Probably at the library, too, as well as his others, like the one below. He’s still creating great stuff, in my humble and artful opinion.

I tried to record this for those who can’t use the Twitter link (but I hope you can) to no avail without some convoluted processes. It’s just a sweet thing, so do try to get it. Otherwise, you can probably get the gist with the photo.

This tickles my funny bone.

Hit the link to see several others to amuse.

On the shop front, two (maybe even three if Pisces is 3rd orbit Mars aligns with Jupiter) new notecard designs, complete with the stickers, labels, envelopes, and tags. They should be available early to mid-February. I’m excited about them! Watch this space.

And, pray tell, why aren’t you in the January poem group? We are missing you! Yes, you know who you are.! Here are a few of the ones so far, but if you sign up today for the remainder of them, you can still access the old ones with a link I’ll provide.
