In an attempt to greet a new year, here are a few feel-good things.
Before we completely lose 2020, here’s a nod to Henri Matisse, who was the featured artist on the Whose House? December calendar.
As a big fan of picture book illustrators and beautifully illustrated books in general, I follow Lilla Rogers, who is an agent for several illustrators and artists. At her site, you can find an array of wonderfully talented people, and I promise you that any time spent there will be worth your investment for the sheer pleasure of the artwork. Recently she spotlighted Jennifer Potter, including some lovely animations, and I would like you to go see her breathtaking - I think - work for books and articles. You can find her site here.
