Stop by often and sit a spell! Uh...you might have to clear the chair first.

Two birthdays to note. Well, sort of.

Two birthdays to note. Well, sort of.

The header reflects one of the many fine quotes from the work of Kenneth Grahame born March 8, 1859 in Edinburough. Author and illustrator, there is much wisdom in Wind in the Willows. One of my favorites:

After all, the best part of a holiday is perhaps not so much to be resting yourself, as to see all the other fellows busy working.

And, I dabbled with the one below today, thinking it was Bach's birthday. Well, it is, but not Johann's! oh, no, it was his son Carl's birthday (who I find was an accomplished composer and performer on his own). NERTZ! But, never mind, Johann is getting posted a couple weeks earlier than his actual birthday, March 21. Who cares, right?

Okay, and when I say I dabbled, I meant it. Errors abound, but I'm just playing. Maybe I'll perfect it later, maybe not. Was going for the flat poster look. You will enjoy the video below it, since you have always wanted to see elephants dancing. Haven't you?
