Here’s the 2021 Valentine Series for my lovely subscribers! There will be 7 new ideas here (some are new adaptations of last year’s). You can reach this page through the email I sent you or through the Subscriber Portal (find at the bottom of blog page.) The password for both places is ALLABOUTARTS in capital letters.
DAY 7. The last day.
Now that you have your valentines stamped, addressed, and mailed (wink, wink), how about a little assorted fun?
Day 6: Whose Valentine?
I’ve moved and/or adapted some images from the Whose House 2020 Calendar for a set of tags. Although Valentine themed, there are some that can be used any time.
Georgia O’Keefe
Gustav Klimt
Matisse
Kandinsky
Download all 8 tags here.
Day 5
One must have the right address label for those cards and envelopes, yes?
Download zip file of six 3 x 2 address labels
DAY 4
You printed the cards (and wrote a lovely message inside, I’m sure), printed and folded your envelopes, put some faux postage on it just for fun, and now you need that sticker on the back flap. Yes?
The stickers are formatted for printing on Avery labels 22807, but you can print them on any sticky paper and hand cut them or on printer paper, then cut and glue.
There are lots more (36 in all) original heart stickers on last year’s freebie page (see link in 2nd paragraph). Or, since they are a free download this year to all readers, you can find the download link on a recent blog post.
DAY 3
You’ll need postage for your cards, won’t you now? (It’s faux, but always looks quite fun next to the real stuff or if you’re handing the card over.)
Download Valentine faux postage
DAY 2
Download and print these 4 x 6 notecards on card stock, coordinating envelope patterns on sturdy paper, and an envelope template. There are six designs of cards and 4 envelope patterns. Mix and match them. Or use envelope pattern to tuck inside a regular envelope as a liner.
4 envelopes 6 foldover 4 x 6 cards
DAY 1
Here is a desktop calendar in two sizes to download. On a Mac, you should be able to download to use as a screen size desktop image. Probably true with a PC, but I’m a neophyte there, sorry!
Desktop for most models and screens (1920 x 1080) iPads and similar devices (2732 x 2048)
The bulk of the art here, on the Housemates series, and on last year’s Valentine series is original artwork by me. This year Valentine series I have relied upon some other artists for inspirational tutorials or digital downloads of designs - with all the requisite permission to use here, of course.
