My name is Diane Moline and I work and play in One Red Chair Studio, a sunny room in our home. I live in Bonney Lake, Washington, near Seattle, in the great Pacific Northwest.  I am a mixed media artist, a retired educator, a small-business owner both past and present, an inveterate traveler, and roommate of two cats and husband Bob. They hang out in the studio with me on the chair that serves as a depository for everything but sitting. I’ve blogged since 2008 and have built this larger site to reflect my lifelong love of All Things Arts. I hope it reflects my passion for making and appreciating art and artists since I was old enough to hold a crayon. I make a lot of things in a lot of ways with a lot of different tools, and I especially enjoy the variety that mixed media offers. I sell annual calendars of my artwork as well as commissioned pet and people portraits and custom travel journals (The Shop has details.) I am happy to be living in an age where we can share and enjoy so much art, meet so many artists, and have so many ways to express our own creativity.
